Paediatric Virtual Urgent Care Nurse

We are excited to launch a new Paediatric Virtual Urgent Care via phone/video consultation providing families with timely access to expert paediatric advice from the comfort of their homes. We are now seeking experienced paediatric nurses to express their interest in joining this new initiative.

About the Role

As a Paediatric Urgent Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in the delivery of virtual urgent care. Working alongside doctors with extensive experience in child health, you will:

• Conduct initial assessments of children to determine suitability for the service.
• Facilitate and support the doctor consultation by providing key clinical insights, taking payments and any required admin
• Monitor patients where required, following the doctor consultation, ensuring they receive safe and timely care.

This role is based at our clinic in Osborne Park, with each shift being staffed by two paediatric nurses working collaboratively. The hours of the role are 3.00pm-11pm

We are seeking internal applicants who are:

• Experienced in paediatric nursing, with strong clinical assessment skills.
• Organised, attentive, and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple virtual consultations.
• Collaborative team players, open to shaping and improving this new service as it evolves.

As this is a newly introduced service, we value your input and ideas. Nurses in this role will work closely with leadership to help develop workflows, clinical protocols, and operational improvements to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care to our young patients.
