Medical Receptionist - Osborne Park - Full Time - Experience required

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis at our Osborne Park clinic. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a health care setting, along with a strong commitment to providing high-quality administrative support within a healthcare environment.

In this role, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of St John Medical and Urgent Care, occasionally working autonomously. You will follow established high-quality processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of consistent, professional service to patients, doctors, and corporate clients.

Hours:

Between the hours of : 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday


What you will be doing:

  • Taking bookings for patients using Best Practice software
  • Processing Patient Paperwork (Faxing/Scanning and emailing Documents)
  • Rescheduling Patient appointments
  • Assist in the coordination of pre-employment medicals and other occupational health services
  • Answering multiple busy phone lines
  • Billings and accounts (HICAPS and EFTPOS)
  • Results Management

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a busy medical reception role
  • Experience working in Occupational Health and Pre-Employment Medicals would be beneficial
  • Professional presentation and attitude
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and customer skills
  • Experience using Best Practice software or similar
  • Intermediate computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Genuine interest in helping people
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Current Police Clearance
