The Role:

We are seeking a Registered or Enrolled Nurse who has a passion for providing supportive, patient focused clinical care within a primary health care setting. The hours of the role are:

Monday 10am-6pm

Friday 10am-6pm

Key responsibilities:

  • Performing health assessments and chronic disease care planning based on best practice principles
  • Focusing on preventative health strategies to help reduce lifestyle risk factors
  • Maintaining and developing new working relationships with independent and interdependent members of the medical, nursing and allied health professionals to value add to our patients health journey
  • Performing ECG, Spirometry and Ankle Brachial Index as appropriate
  • Treatment room duties
  • Immunisations
  • Wound care
  • Iron Infusions
  • Performing ECG’s

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Registered or Enrolled nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • At least 12 months experience working in a GP Practice
  • Chronic Disease Management experience - essential
  • Current CPR certificate - essential
  • Current Immunisation Certificate - essential
  • Highly organised with the ability to take responsibility for and manage own workload
  • Knowledge of Best Practice software highly desirable
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
