Dental Assistants - Joondalup - Part-time

The role:

In line with patient growth, we are now seeking 2 x Dental Assistant's to join our team of professionals on a Part-time basis at our Joondalup clinic.

St John Dental clinics provide unparalleled oral care including routine general, major dental (including implants and extractions) and emergency. Whether it's the annual family trip for a scale and polish or a complex surgical procedure that our patients visit us for, we provide comprehensive treatment plans and adhere to a high standard of service for all of our patients.

Our Dental clinics are open 6 days per week and hours will range from 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 4pm on Saturday.

Roster:

Monday - 8.45am - 5.15pm - 1 x DA required

Wednesday - 8.45am - 5.15pm - 2 x DA's required

Thursday - 8.45am - 5.15pm - 1 x DA's required

Thursday - 8am to 4pm - 1 x DA doing steri required

(must be able to pick up as least 2 of these shifts)

What you will be doing:

  • Assist our Dentists chair-side, pre-empting their needs
  • Perform surgery preparation in anticipation of the daily schedule
  • Follow instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
  • Care for our patients like they are family and bring a positive and professional energy to the team

To be considered you will have:

  • Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting
  • At least 1 year chair-side experience
  • Experience using Dental 4 Windows or similar
  • Exceptional inter-personal and customer service skills
