St John Urgent Care clinics nestle themselves perfectly between the First Aid and Ambulance services of St John WA. We treat walk-in patients with urgent medical needs. We also have General Practice and Dental services at our 6 metro locations.

The role for you:

The Senior Recruitment Consultant is required to provide day to day coordination and guidance to the Recruitment Team along with end to end recruitment of General Practitioners and Dentist roles in consultation with the management team. The role will see you working full time, Monday to Friday based out of our Belmont office.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop recruitment plans in consultation with management and hiring manager, establish agreed timeframes and set objectives
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes by implementing appropriate changes and communicating issues
  • Offer advice to management with regard to effective recruitment practises and organisation expectations
  • Liaise directly with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Meet the objectives of the hiring manager and ensure candidate are kept up to date and informed about their application
  • Interviews – arrange, conduct and select candidate in consultation with management.
  • Job advertisements - Prepare and advertise open vacancies on various job-boards to attract talent
  • Gauge the skills and experience of the candidate to determine a good alignment with the requirements of the role and the organisation’s needs.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in leading, coaching or guiding a team
  • Experience in the provision of medical recruitment, selection and appointment services
  • Experience using FastTrack 360 software is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to be organised and prioritise tasks effectively
  • On-the-spot problem solving skills
  • Engaging communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Excellent time management accompanied with the ability to prioritise
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
