Your role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Urgent Care Nurse in our Cannington practice for the below hours:

Week 1

Tues 3pm-10pm

Wed 4pm-9pm

Thurs 8am-4pm

Week 2

Tues 3pm-10pm

Wed 4pm-10pm

Thurs 8am-4pm

Fri 4pm-9pm

In addition to the above, you will also have the ability to pick up additional shifts. This position will suit an individual who has a passion for providing supportive and patient focused clinical care within a primary health care setting, focusing on improving health outcomes for our patients.

What you will be doing:

Taking care of patients with urgent medical needs. Our Urgent Care Centres are similar to a mini–Emergency Department and treat a range of illnesses and injuries which means each shift will be different, busy, and exciting.

To join you will have:

Emergency Department/Critical Care/acute medical setting experience (essential)

Triage experience (essential)

Casting and cannulation (advantageous but training will be provided)

Registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse with no restrictions

Current CPR certificate

Knowledge and familiarity of Best Practice software (highly regarded)

Police Clearance (inside 3 months old)
